Get hands-on and learn about trucks! As a part of Downtown Holland’s annual Fall Fest, Touch a Truck at Windmill Island Gardens is a brand-new family-friendly event where truck enthusiasts of all ages, kids and adults alike, can explore a variety of vehicles that go! There will be emergency vehicles, construction trucks, utility trucks, and more! We will host siren-free time from 9:30am-11:30am and after that, all the lights and sirens will go intermittently throughout the duration of the event until 1:00pm. Come enjoy these trucks and even honk some horns at Windmill Island Gardens! Each truck will have an attendant to show you around and answer any questions about the vehicle. Enjoy a variety of truck and fall themed kid-friendly activities with this event, and for those who can never get enough trucks, you can even make a pitstop at a food truck to fuel up! And in the spirit of fall, hayrides will be available for just $1 for ages 3 and up, and you can even watch our horticulture team hard at work to see our tulip planting tractor in action planting tulip bulbs to bloom in the spring!
